This page is designed to give you information about our sports programs.  The ICAA offers sports programs for the children of Immaculate Conception School, the Immaculate Conception Parish as well as children who live in the geographic territory of the Parish. IMMACULATE CONCEPTION VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS

Immaculate Conception Athletic Association is having its Junior Varsity and Varsity Volleyball tryouts on Monday, August 16, 2010 at the Elkton YMCA from 6:00PM-7:30PM for girls entering 4th through 6th grade and 7:30-9:00PM for girls entering 6th through 8th grade. 

For those who cannot make this tryout date, practices will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2010 and Thursday, August 19 at the Elkton YMCA at 6:00-7:30PM for 4-6th graders and 7:30-9:00PM for 6-8th graders. 

Tryouts for high school girls be will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 7:30PM – 9:00PM at the Elkton YMCA.

Anyone interested in trying out MUST have a signed registration form which can be obtained by going to http://cdow.org/cymathletics.html.  Returning or new players, please follow instructions on registering.  No one will be allowed to try out without a signed registration form.

Items needed:  Register through the CYM website and bring registration form and fee, Knee Pads, Shorts and Tee Shirt/Jersey, Sneakers/Socks, Water/Gatorade

Cost for season is $90.00 (plus cost of uniform/Tee Shirt) to be collected at tryouts. Checks made payable to ICAA. __________________________________________________________

Please keep in mind that this apparel is not a substitute for the regular gym uniform.  This is extra apparel for your child to enjoy and show their school spirit!

Something new that ICAA is implementating starting in the Fall is a uniform deposit for each sport that your child participates in.  In order to assure all uniforms are returned a $50 uniform deposit (check only) will be required.

Fall Sports include:  Volleyball, Soccer, and Cross Country.  Registration for these sports are available now.  All athletes must register online at http://www.cdow.org/cymathletics.html. Once you register, please print out a copy of the FINAL form and bring it and all fees to the Parish Center.  

All registations and fees must be paid prior to practicing.

2010-2011 Middle School Dances are scheduled.  The ICAA will also sponsor three K-5th grade dances throughout the school year.  

This year, we are making it mandatory that each family chaperone at least one dance (K-5) and 2 dances (Middle School).  The reason for this change is each month ICAA Dance committee struggles to find parent volunteers to chaperone leaving the same group of parents to chaperone month after month. We need parent volunteers to help with all of these functions, including setting up, activities, collecting money at the door, selling snacks, chaperoning, cleaning up the cafeteria and gym after the dances conclude.  

Middle School Dances are held monthly and are for students in grades 6, 7, 8 from 7pm-10pm in the ICS Gym!

K-5 Dances are held three times during the school year.  Times of these dances depend on the grade your child is in:

K through 2nd -from 6pm-7:30pm
3rd through 5th - from 7:30pm-9:30pm
