First Friday Monthly Gatherings
Adult Volunteers
Our programs are successful because of our volunteers. There are many opportunities, big and small, for adults to lend a hand. Safety is our top priority. If you can share your time with our 7th & 8th graders and help provide a safe environment for YM activities and events, please contact Ruthie Patterson at youthministry@iccparish.org or call 410 392 3551.
You can also download and print a brochure with details and job descriptions for volunteer opportunities with 7th & 8th grade students.

Pilgrimage (diocesan)
This is an annual event started in 2010 and held on the Saturday of Palm Sunday weekend. Young people, young adults, youth ministry leaders, and families are invited to join the Bishop as we carry a replica of the World Youth Day cross through the streets of Wilmington as a representation of Jesus’ entry to Jerusalem and his journey on Good Friday to Calvary.
The day begins with an opening prayer and includes Reconciliation, Eucharistic Adoration, a concert with a Catholic musician, and liturgy with the Bishop. A service component was added to the day’s events beginning in 2011. View the YouTube Video about this event.

Outreach needs food, desperately.
So many people come to our Outreach food pantry. In March 2012 we gave food to 171 families, including 304 children and 383 adults.
One of our customers is a senior citizen living alone on a fixed income. She has no family members to help her, so she comes to us.
One family had to move in with another whole family just to keep from being homeless. They have 13 people sharing one apartment, and they come to us for help.
Can you help us help them?
Our pantry is in desperate need of the following items:
- mac & cheese
- baked beans
- soup
- instant potatoes
- rice a roni
- fruit
- cereal
- pasta
